Coffee & Conversation (Rising Dads)
Join other dads for a casual morning of coffee, conversation, and camaraderie. This meetup is a chance to take a breather, share experiences, and connect with other fathers who “get it.” No agenda—just good coffee, good company, and a space where you can show up exactly as you are.

Sip, savor, and support an amazing cause—join us Saturday, November 8 at The Graceful Ordinary for an elegant high-tea event, benefiting Rising Lights Project.
Your ticket includes a glass of champagne on arrival and curated high-tea experience, featuring sweet and savory bites crafted by Chef Chris Curren, highlighted by seasonal produce grown in our very own Rising Lights garden.
Mingle with fellow supporters, hear inspiring stories from Rising Lights families, and learn how your support helps us continue our mission to bring learning, laughter, and friendship to adults with disabilities—and their families—in our community.

Holiday Jamboree (Ages 14 and Under)

Join us for a magical holiday experience at Rising Lights Project! Families will hop aboard a festive a 25 minute trolley ride through the streets of St Charles, soaking in the sights and sounds of the season. After the ride, enjoy a cheerful visit with Santa, complete with a photo opportunity to capture the moment.
Kids can get creative with a holiday craft while sipping on hot cocoa and nibbling on freshly baked cookies. It’s the perfect way to kick off the holiday spirit — full of laughter, warmth, and community joy!

Sensory and Allergy Friendly
Join us for a free, fun-filled afternoon of trick-or-treating in a sensory-friendly and inclusive environment!
Hosted by My Recess Therapy and Rising Lights Project, in collaboration with our Partners in Care, this event is designed for children of all abilities to enjoy Halloween festivities in a safe, welcoming space.
👻 What to Expect: Kids will trick-or-treat trunk to trunk in a lineup of decorated vehicles parked at the ELBURN METRA Parking Lot. Each trunk will be filled with allergy-friendly goodies, interactive activities, and plenty of smiles!
