Rising Parents Program Goals

1. Foster Emotional Support and Connection

Create a safe, judgment-free space where moms of special needs children can share experiences, challenges, and victories—building a strong, empathetic community that reduces feelings of isolation.

2. Promote Self-Care and Resilience

Empower moms through monthly meetings and retreats that focus on mental wellness, self-advocacy, and practical self-care strategies to help prevent caregiver burnout.

3. Provide Access to Resources and Tools

Offer valuable information and contacts through RLP resource page, guest speakers, and workshops that equip moms with tools to navigate school systems, therapies better, and daily family life.

Rising Moms

Our mission is to provide a supportive community for moms of children with disabilities. We aim to create a safe and inclusive space where moms can share their experiences, find emotional support, and connect with other moms who are going through similar challenges. We believe every mom deserves to feel heard, valued, and supported, and we strive to empower moms to advocate for themselves and their children. We aim to help moms build resilience, find hope, and create meaningful connections that will last a lifetime.
